Not far from here the well-known hiking trail “Rheinsteig” leads through the Rheingau after leaving Wiesbaden before it continues through the Middle Rhine Valley. Well-marked Nordic wal-king and cycling routes offer a wide variety of activities for guests with sporting ambitions. The evenings can be cheery and the nights long in Rüdesheim’s Old Town. The “Drosselgasse” with its cosy wine taverns and inviting bars is the centre of Rhine jollity.
