Then there’s the Australian rappelling or rap-jumping variation for the brave-hearted. Australian rappelling is a new sport trend in which one descends the wall of a tall building on a fixed rope in a standing position while facing the ground. In our case it’s not the wall of a buil-ding but the Säuerlingsturm, an old watchtower located at the Boppard train station.
